A donation to the Pulmonary Hypertension Association (PHA) is a gift of hope to people with pulmonary hypertension (PH), caregivers, advocates and health care professionals who treat PH.
Many PHA donors take advantage of their employers’ giving programs to maximize their impact and spread awareness about PH. Whether you are an employee, retiree, or spouse of an employee, you can use these workplace giving options to support PHA:
Payroll deduction. Many companies offer programs that allow you to give to PHA through bi-weekly, monthly or annual deductions from your paycheck. Ask your human resources representative if your company offers charitable giving by payroll deduction.
Matching gifts. When you give to PHA, you can double your impact with a corporate match. Your employer might match your donation dollar for dollar, even if you are retired. Use our online tool to check whether your employer has a matching gift program.
Employer donation. If you donate your time by volunteering for PHA, your employer might support your efforts with a donation.
Other employer programs. Federal and state employees can give to PHA by participating in the Combined Federal Campaign. And many companies allow employees to earmark United Way contributions for organizations like PHA. Check with your HR representative for more information.
PHA depends on the generosity of donors to fulfill our mission of extending and improving the lives of those affected by PH. If you have questions about donating through your workplace, email us, or call 240-485-3810.
