
The sixth annual Tampa O2breathe 5K and Walk raised more than $20,000 for the Pulmonary Hypertension Association. The Feb. 18 event at Al Lopez Park in Tampa, Florida, memorialized Missy Stok Rizzo.
Brian Rizzo, the event’s founder, welcomed attendees, followed by remarks from Anna Bernus, MD, from Pediatrix Cardiology Associates and Tampa Bay Adult Congenital Heart Center and Dan Mauriello, MD, from Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital. PHA Board of Trustees member Mike Lentz emceed the event.
The top fundraising teams were Her PHight is Our Fight (pictured above), MissyFits Phighting For A Cure, and Team Couch Rage. Top individual fundraisers were Kevin Swartz, Elizabeth Amos and Kerri Hickey.
