By now, the Pulmonary Hypertension Association Board of Trustees chair would have passed the gavel to the incoming chair at Conference. Instead, PHA is hosting a brief Facebook Live event for Karen Fagan, M.D., to pass the torch to Colleen Brunetti, M.Ed., C.H.C.
Join us at 7 p.m. EDT Wednesday, June 24, for the ceremony – and learn the location for PHA 2022 International PH Conference and Scientific Sessions. Colleen, the second person with PH to chair PHA’s Board of Trustees, will share an inspirational message with the PH community as we look ahead to a time we can connect in person.
Colleen, who lives is Connecticut with her husband and two children, was diagnosed with PH in 2008. After connecting with PHA, she helped co-found Generation Hope and participated in fundraisers and PHA events. She has advocated on behalf of PHA to the Food and Drug administration and Congress and has served on the board since 2010.
Professionally, Colleen started her career as a teacher, but PH forced her to leave the field shortly after diagnosis. Since then, she has re-defined her professional life with writing, speaking and health coaching.
Don’t miss this opportunity to “meet” Colleen in a virtual version of a longtime Conference tradition. You’ll be among the first to know where we’ll be able to connect in person for PHA 2022.
Watch the Facebook Live event here, or log in to PHA’s Facebook page.
