PHPN Symposium

“Initial Triple vs. Sequential Combination PAH Therapy” will be debated at the PHPN Symposium, “Influencing the Practice: The Art and Science of Treating Pulmonary Hypertension,” in Washington, D.C., Sept. 5-7.  Ioana R. Preston, M.D., will be pitted against Jeffrey S. (Jeff) Sager, M.D., MSCE, on the second day of the Symposium, Sept. 6, to explore treatment options for pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH). Dr. Sager will take the position of sequential combination therapy and says he “will be honored or destroyed” in this debate against his rival. Dr. Preston says, “I look forward to the battle!”

After a day of continuing education, participants at this year’s symposium will have the opportunity to have some fun while donating funds to help individuals with PH attend PHA 2020 International PH Conference and Scientific Sessions in Anaheim, Calif., by participating in Trivia Night. This new event on Sept. 6 is a way for attendees to show off their general and PH knowledge for a good cause. Teams are forming quickly, so attendees should be sure to add Trivia Night to their Symposium registration at PHAssociation.org/Symposium/Registration.

Only two weeks left before the early-bird rate for this year’s Symposium expires on June 14!
