You might have noticed that we’ve moved the date for PHA 2024 International PH Conference and Scientific Sessions. The conference is now set for Aug. 15-18, 2024, at the JW Marriott in Indianapolis.

The new date allows the Scientific Sessions to focus on new guidance and findings from the seventh World Symposium on Pulmonary Hypertension (PH). The world symposium is set for June 29-July 1 in Barcelona, Spain.

Pulmonary Hypertension Association (PHA) conferences take place every two years for people with PH, caregivers, families and health care professionals. PHA conferences feature two education tracks: one for patients and caregivers (general sessions) and the one health care professionals (Scientific Sessions).

PHA 2024 will offer the latest information about PH research, treatment and disease-management, as well as networking events, support group meetings and celebrations. Health care professionals can earn continuing education credit for attending sessions and abstract presentations. General sessions bring together patients and health care professionals for inspirational, informative presentations of interest to the entire PH community.

PHA has been bringing together patients, caregivers and health care professionals since its first conference in 1996.

The first World Symposium on Pulmonary Hypertension was in 1973. Since 1998, it has taken place every five years. The event brings together PH experts from around the world to promote scientific collaboration and work toward a cure for PH.
