Discover resources to help cover out-of-pocket prescription costs and other expenses associated with your care. The PAN Foundation provides financial assistance programs, advocacy and education to help people with life-threatening, chronic and rare diseases. The organization aims to remove barriers to treatment, champion policies that expand access to care and improve health outcomes for thousands of people each year, including those with pulmonary hypertension.
Financial resources
You might be eligible for up to $8,000 to pay for deductibles, copays and coinsurance costs associated with your PH treatment. You can apply whether you have employer- or government-funded insurance, or a privately purchased plan.
To qualify, you must:
- Receive treatment for pulmonary hypertension.
- Reside and receive treatment in the United States or U.S. territories. (U.S. citizenship isn’t a requirement.)
- Have health insurance that covers the qualifying medication or product.
- Have a prescription for a medication or product listed on PAN’s list of covered medications.
- Have an income that falls at or below 500% of the federal poverty level.

Transportation grant
You might qualify for $500 to pay for transportation to and from activities that improve your overall health. Covered expenses can include gas, parking, public transportation, taxis, airfare and more. Patients may be eligible for a transportation grant if they have an approved copay or health insurance premium grant through PAN.
