The Kitchen Table Society recognizes donors whose commitment continues the mission-driven work of our founders, four women gathered at a kitchen table in 1991.

When you donate to the Pulmonary Hypertension Association, your gift will help make life better for people with pulmonary hypertension and their families throughout the U.S. and the world. PHA is the first and largest organization in the world dedicated to providing comprehensive PH patient and caregiver support, medical education and care services that improve patients’ quality of life and research to give hope to people battling the disease.

Give with confidence
When you donate to PHA, you’re supporting an organization recognized for excellence and transparency. PHA holds GuideStar’s Platinum Seal of Transparency, the highest level of recognition from the nation’s leading source of nonprofit information. We’re also proud to earn top ratings from GreatNonprofits and Charity Navigator for our commitment to accountability and excellence.

Memorial donations
Naming the Pulmonary Hypertension Association as the recipient of memorial gifts in your loved one’s name honors the strength and courage of their fight while also uniting your friends and family in making strides for all those touched by pulmonary hypertension.
Notifying PHA
Each issue of Pathlight, PHA’s quarterly magazine, acknowledges people who have lost their battle with PH. PHA publishes the Passages list in each issue of Pathlight to honor those who are gone but not forgotten. The accuracy of this list is very important to us.
Please notify PHA about a death as soon as you can, so we can include your loved one in our Passages list and update our records.
Newspaper notices
When including a request for donations in memory of a loved one in a newspaper notice, PHA suggests the following format:
“The family requests memorial contributions be sent to the Pulmonary Hypertension Association, 1121 14th St. NW, Suite 150, Washington D.C., 20005, or make a memorial gift online.”
Sending thanks
When PHA receives a memorial gift, we will promptly send a letter to the person or family indicated, notifying them of the thoughtful donation. We will also mail a letter to the donor, thanking them for their generosity.
To inform us about a loved one’s death or ask questions about making a memorial gift, call 301-565-3004, ext. 755, or email us.
