Offer targeted, vetted opportunities for people with pulmonary hypertension to participate in the treatment and cure of their disease.
Gather information about patients’ experience with PH, including physical and psychosocial effects; related therapies or clinical investigations; and patient preferences in line with FDA’s 2020 guidance on Patient Focused Drug Development.
Further PHA’s mission to improve and extend the lives of those affected by PH, by matching partners with willing participants to foster research and development of PH therapies.
PHA helps partners reach specific audiences about clinical studies or other PH projects through targeted email campaigns. You can engage patients, caregivers or health care providers, including PH Care Center directors, for clinical study collaboration.
PHA’s community database contains thousands of records, with self-reported data from people who participate in PHA events, visit PHA’s website and engage with social media channels.
For precise and accurate targeting, PHA queries PHA Registry, the largest active registry of people with pulmonary hypertension. The registry contains blind data about more than 2,000 people with pulmonary artery hypertension and chronic thromboembolic pulmonary hypertension.
Patients enroll in the registry when they begin treatment at more than 100 PHA-accredited care centers. Health care providers at the care centers regularly update the diagnostic and therapeutic data.
To reach eligible subjects, PHA will facilitate communication with patients’ clinic to confirm eligibility and recruit for studies.
