Luto Research, in partnership with United Therapeutics, is conducting a study to evaluate a new inhaler that may be used to treat various medical conditions, including pulmonary arterial hypertension, pulmonary hypertension associated with interstitial lung disease, PH-ILD related to idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis, combined PF and emphysema, or connective tissue disease.

Researchers are looking for people who currently use the Tyvaso® Dry Powder Inhaler, as well as those who have never used it, to help evaluate how easy the new inhaler and its instructions are to use.

What’s involved:

• Attend one in-person study session in Geneva, Illinois (about one hour west of Chicago). The session will last up to 2.5 hours.
• Review instructions and receive training on how to use the inhaler.
• Practice using an empty inhaler for inhalation and a placebo inhaler that will be sprayed into the air. No medication is involved.
• Answer questions about how easy the instructions and inhaler are to understand and use.
• Receive a $225 Amazon gift card for your time and travel.

United Therapeutics, in partnership with RTI Health Solutions, is seeking feedback on the latest iteration of parenteral pump therapy for administering subcutaneous Remodulin to treat pulmonary arterial hypertension.

About this study:

• RTI-HS is conducting interviews with adults in the United States who are 18 or older, have been diagnosed with PAH and currently are using subcutaneous Remodulin with the RemunityPRO parenteral pump.
• The interviews will be conducted through a web-based platform (e.g. Zoom, Microsoft Teams) and will last approximately 60 minutes.
• During the interviews, an RTI-HS researcher will ask participants about their experience using the RemunityPRO pump and their satisfaction with its features.
• Interview participants will receive an $80 cash e-card as a token of appreciation.
• All information provided by participants will be held in strict confidence.

You may qualify for this study if you:

• Are 18 or older or have reached the age of majority in your state of residence.
• Have been diagnosed with PAH.
• Currently use the RemunityPRO parenteral pump to administer Remodulin and have used it for at least four weeks.
• Have not previously used any other parenteral pump therapies, including first generation Remunity/CADDMS3, to treat your PAH.
