The PH Boot Camp is delivered through PHA Online University, offering flexible access and a self-paced learning experience.
This activity is designed to improve knowledge, competence, performance and patient care practices by instructing front-line clinicians in the highest quality of care for patients with PH. At the conclusion of the program, participants should be able to:
- Define key pathophysiologic and epidemiologic components of PH.
- Accurately diagnose patients through comprehensive screening and early recognition of symptoms.
- Evaluate the patient’s conditions, calculate risk status, and prescribe optimal long-term management, including knowing when to consult with colleagues at an established PH program.
- Tailor comprehensive care for complex patient populations and those at varying levels of risk.
This continuing education activity is provided by AffinityCE and the Pulmonary Hypertension Association.
Target Audience:
This activity has been designed for pulmonologists, cardiologists, rheumatologists, internists, and primary care physicians. It may also be of interest to nurses, physician assistants, and other allied health professionals who help care for patients with pulmonary hypertension (PH). A statement of participation is available to other attendees.
